1. Chicago, IL
Chicago is Travel + Leisure’s cheapest domestic destination for April, and it’s such a cool city! Learn about the city’s rich architecture with a Chicago architecture river cruise. View the city from above at the Sky Deck, visit the iconic silver bean at Millennium Park, then do some shopping down Magnificent Mile. Don’t forget to have some fun at Navy Pier!
2. Los Angeles, CA
Who needs an excuse to visit LA?! This is the second most populous city in the USA and for great reason; all sorts of people from all walks of life move here to make it in all sorts of industries, namely entertainment. Not only is this the place to find fame, Los Angeles is beautiful and known for its variety of sights; who wouldn’t want to live here, especially with the variety of luxurious homes offered on Reali for the area. However, if visiting is just on the agenda for now, make sure you make time to see everything you want to discover. The city of angels is beautiful in April, so take advantage of the weather by enjoying Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach! Don’t forget to gaze at the stars at Griffith Observatory, do some shopping down Rodeo Drive, and mingle with the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 3. Savannah, GA
Savannah is the hostess city of the south, and Travel + Leisure’s no. 8 friendliest city in the world! Enjoy the southern hospitality under their beautiful oak trees while you walk through their historic district and wander across Forsyth Park. Make sure to visit the Bonaventure Cemetery and Cathedral of St. John the Baptist while you’re there. If you’re craving some really fresh seafood, take a day trip out to Tybee Island!

4. U.S. Virgin Islands
The U.S. Virgin Islands boast rich history alongside white sand beaches, and peak season is over by April. You can expect lighter crowds this time of year, but be sure to join in in the Carnival celebrations in St. Thomas this month! St. John offers Annaberg Plantation, Caneel Bay, Trunk Bay, and the Virgin Islands National Park. If you’re in St. Croix, be sure to visit the Buck Island National Monument, the Cruzan Rum Distillery, and the Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge. St. Thomas is home to Coki Beach, Coral World Ocean Park, Magens Bay, and Paradise Point. With so much variety on each island, you really can’t go wrong!
5. Kyoto, Japan
Kyoto is the place to be to catch Japan’s beautiful April cherry blossoms! Visit the geishas in the Gion neighborhood, take a stroll down Philosopher’s Walk, and marvel at the Golden and Silver Pavilions. Be sure to pay your respects at both the Fushimi Inari Shrine and the Kiyomizu Temple.
6. Fes, Morocco
Though much of Africa is hot this time of year, Morocco boasts pleasant temperatures this month! You have to visit Fes’s iconic Chouara Tannery to see their world-famous leather production. Take a dip in the traditional Moroccan baths, known as hammams, in Spa Laaroussa. Taste the fresh local Mediterranean cuisine at Dar Ramouna before visiting Kairaouine, one of Africa’s largest mosques.
7. Chengdu, China
Chengdu’s warming temperatures this month will give you the perfect weather to hang out with pandas at Dujiangyan Panda Base! Eat locally at Jinli Old Street, gaze at Mount Qingcheng and Wenshu Yuan Monastery, then marvel at the intricate masks at a traditional Sichuan Opera. While you’re in the area, don’t miss out on the “fairy-tale world” of Jiuzhaigou Valley!
8. The Netherlands
