The Uptown Events & Travel Team is a group of experienced wedding and travel professionals, focused on providing you with a stress free and enjoyable destination wedding planning process. What sets us apart? We break the Destination Wedding down into two parts: wedding planning and travel management. We will not only help you book a resort and manage your guests travel arrangements, you will also have a personal wedding coordinator that is with you each step of the planning process.

Wedding Planning:

With a strong foundation in event logistics, coordination and creative wedding design, you can rest assured that we will guide you through each step of the planning process. Your wedding planner will take your decor ideas and inspiration, and create a full design plan. She will be your partner in tackling your wedding planning to-do list, so you can enjoy your weekends!

Travel Planning:

Overwhelmed with the choices you have about the destination, resorts, and what is involved to pull it off? Concerned about having to be responsible for everyone’s travel arrangements? Worried about the pricing, different room selections, and how to book airfare plus reminding everyone of their deadlines while planning your wedding? Relax and leave that all to us! We understand what is involved and will do the work to simplify things. We can secure your rooms and provide your family and friends with the necessary information so they can easily book their travels to your chosen destination.

Wedding planning services begin from the moment of event conception. We are the direct liaison between you and your vendors. We attend meetings, negotiate contracts based upon your budget, and serve as your event coordinator.


We create a custom design board that includes coordinating colors and decor elements to make your event uniquely you and work with vendors to ensure the design plan is fully executed to your preferences.


Wedding coordination begins approximately four to six weeks from the event. We communicate with your vendors to create a well-organized timeline and oversee your event to keep it running smoothly and on time.
