Stephanie and Curtis were hands down the most loving couple we have ever worked with. Their love for each other was evident the second we met them. Even better, their love for others showed itself through out the planning process. Their day was truly designed and executed around their special bond and Uptown was over the moon to be a part of this special process. Their personal and thoughtful details kept their design subtly elegant from start to finish.
Stephanie + Curtis chose to say I Do at the beautiful Hill Country venue, Ma Maison. Located in Dripping Springs, Ma Maison’s French inspired architecture and vast greenery surrounding their structures creates the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding day.
Stephanie and her bridesmaids started their day getting dolled up by Lola Beauty! Her six bridesmaids followed the neutral color scheme beautifully with mauve floor length gowns, while Stephanie wowwed us all wearing a lace covered gown and jeweled belt provided by Unbridaled.
Their afternoon ceremony took place at one of Ma Maison’s many outdoor ceremony locations, with floral + greenery specially added by Wild Bunches. The greenery, dusty rose petals and lanterns exuded the romantic, subtly elegant feeling of the night from the second guests arrived.
Ma Maison’s cathedral provided the backdrop for formal portraits, and it did not disappoint! Sean with Day 7 Photography used the intricate backdrop to create flawless portraits of Stephanie + Curtis in strikingly simple poses.
These two could be on a magazine cover, am I right?!?
After cocktail hour, we invited guests inside the formal ballroom for a night of dinner & dancing. Toast Entertainment provided lighting + music that kept the party dancing until the very last minute of the night.
To sweeten the night, Sugar Mama’s Bake Shop provided cake + desserts for the guests to enjoy. Wild Bunches provided blooms to line Stephanie’s bridal cake with floral that accentuated her neutral, romantic and elegant color scheme.
Concluding the beautiful day, Stephanie + Curtis departed with a sparkler exit and of course stopped to kiss half way. Guests left with full hearts as they cheered on the new Mr. & Mrs. Curtis Thompson!
We could not think more highly of these two and wish them a lifetime of happiness and love.
