Uptown events was amazing! They took care of details I would have never thought of! I felt very taken care of on my wedding day. They kept everything on schedule and made sure that I had no added stress. I was hesitant to pay for a coordinator, thinking I could do it all myself. However, It was money well spent! Everyone involved in our wedding was overly impressed by Uptown Events! Jessica and her team did an amazing job and I would recommend Uptown Events to anyone!
I was very fortunate to have Morgan as my wedding coordinator. When I reached out to her, she responded immediately. She was super friendly, down to earth, thorough and professional from the start. She was incredibly helpful in giving me resources and guides for my planning. I was pleasantly surprised that she helped with so much of the decoration set up on the actual day of. Although it rained on my wedding day, she was very on top of things and able to make the call last minute to move the ceremony indoors when I decided the weather was still being very indecisive with us. Although I was pretty stressed out in the moments leading up to my wedding, Morgan was always very supportive, positive, and collective. You can tell that she is really good at what she does and has a passion for it. I would hire Morgan again if I could– she’s incredible! Thank you so much for working with me (and putting up with me) these past several months!!!
Jessica was so amazing to have as the coordinator for our wedding. She was responsive all the way through our year long engagement. She helped organize our wedding and made it go so smoothly. She listened to my ideas and was very prompt to do what I asked. She was incredible! She never once gave the impression that she was flustered or stressed, and in response I never once felt flustered or stressed! I would definitely recommend Uptown Events to anyone looking for a planner/coordinator. She was well worth the extra money! She made my wedding day a day that I could actually enjoy!!
Oh my gosh, where to even start. I hired Jessica Upton with Uptown Events as our day of the wedding coordinator. A month before the wedding she stepped in, and I think I fell in love immediately. She was godsend. I sent her all of my contracts with all of my vendors and she reached out to all of them from there. She created a VERY precise day of the wedding timeline that left no room for confusion. She communicated with ALL vendors where they fit in the timeline and what time they should be expected to arrive. She sent an AMAZING email to all of my vendors, with the day of the wedding timeline, maps/layouts of the venue, items list (for decor, props, etc) with the person who was bringing the item listed next to it, along with the person who was breaking it down, AND who was expected to take it home/return it at the end of the reception. She was fantastic at giving suggestions and advice on literally everything, from decor suggestions, cake cutting vendor suggestions, to shuttle pick up/drop off time. She had appetizers, our beers of choice, and mixed drinks of choice waiting for my husband and me back in bridal suite after the ceremony and pictures (while I was getting my dress bustled before heading to the reception) and that in itself was amazing. She immediately ran and found a tide to go wipe after mud got on my dress. She had our drinks of choice and full plates of food waiting for us once we got inside for the reception. She took care of literally anything and everything and if there were any hiccups or issues that day, I knew nothing of them because she handled everything and she did it perfectly. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone. It was by far the best decision I made during all of the wedding planning. All at a reasonable price, and worth every single penny. I don’t know how Jessica does it, but she did it calmly, and with what seemed like such ease (if she was even a little stressed, she certainly didn’t let it show and made not only me, but everyone feel at complete ease). Her organizational skills are PHENOMENAL. Oh my gosh, I mean truly a lifesaver. I can’t go on enough about her. She blew all expectations out the window.
Uptown events was phenomenal! I was planning my wedding in Dripping Springs from Seattle and my coordinator made sure everything was in order and exactly the way I wanted things. She was incredibly patient with me and gave me the wedding of my dreams. She went over and beyond what a normal wedding planner would do. Any last minute details she handled without having me panic. The wedding day went so smooth because of her day of coordination. My day would not have been so smooth if it wasn’t for her!
Jessica and Morgan were incredible. You spend all year sweating the details of the wedding and worrying about what could possibly go wrong. Jessica and Morgan took all of that pressure off of my mind (as well as my Mother’s!). To me, everything appeared to go completely smoothly on the big day, because they did such a fantastic job of handling any bumps that came along the way. Along with a huge group of overly rowdy groomsmen. Jessica and Morgan were incredibly professional and spent so much time (I think much more than was in our contract!) hashing out the details of the wedding with me and my husband. Thank you so much again for everything you did for me on the wedding day and the month leading up to it! It was obvious you gave 200%!
